About Me

Hello, I'm here to walk alongside you.

I'm an integrative counsellor with four years of experience supporting people through anxiety, low mood, life transitions and the quieter, harder-to-name struggles that life can bring.

Being integrative means I don't believe one approach fits everyone. I draw from person-centred, cognitive and psychodynamic traditions to meet you as the person you are — not a one-size-fits-all method.

As a registered member of the NCPS, I work to a strict ethical framework, so you can feel safe in the knowledge that what we share stays confidential and your wellbeing always comes first.

My Services

Three threads, woven to fit you.

As an integrative counsellor, I draw on several traditions and blend them to suit what you bring — so therapy meets you where you are, not where a textbook says you should be.

Person-Centred

A relationship built on empathy and genuine regard — where you lead the work at your own pace, and I help you hear yourself more clearly.

Cognitive (CBT)

Gentle exploration of the patterns of thought that shape how you feel — making space to notice them and, when you're ready, choose differently.

Psychodynamic

Looking beneath the surface to understand how the past echoes in the present, so old patterns lose their quiet grip on your life today.

Why People Come

Whatever it is, you're not alone in it.

There's no problem too small, and no single 'right' reason to begin. These are just some of the feelings people bring — perhaps one of them sounds like yours.

The weight of 'what if'

Racing thoughts that won't switch off, leaving you exhausted before the day has begun. Together we slow the noise and find steady ground.

Stuck in low mood

When colour has drained from things that used to matter. Therapy offers a space to understand it, gently, without pressure to 'snap out of it'.

Navigating a big change

Loss, a new chapter, a relationship shifting. Times of transition ask a lot of us — and you don't have to hold it alone.

The same old patterns

Finding yourself in the same situation, again and again. We'll look at where they began and what choice is quietly waiting underneath.

Too much, for too long

Carrying more than your share, unable to rest. A place to set it down, be heard, and remember what your own needs sound like.

A quiet sense of 'not enough'

The voice that says you should be further along, better, different. We'll meet it with curiosity and kindness, so it loosens its hold.

Questions

Things people often wonder.

Still have a question? Get in touch — I'm happy to help.

Get In Touch

It's a relaxed, 15-minute phone or video call with no obligation. We talk briefly about what's bringing you to counselling, you can ask any questions, and we'll sense together whether we might be a good fit. If not, I'll happily point you toward other options.

Most people find weekly sessions, at the same day and time, offer the steadiest sense of progress. We can review this together as things develop.

Neither is inherently better — it comes down to what fits your life. Both offer the same warmth, confidentiality and consistency, and you're welcome to move between the two.

Yes. As a registered member of the NCPS, I work to a strict ethical framework, so what you share stays confidential except in rare situations where there's a risk of serious harm.
